Digital Portfolio
This is a follow up project for the Digital Footprints lesson. The Digital Footprints lesson is designed to help students realize the importance of creating positive digital presence. In this follow-up project, students will be creating their professional portfolios by using LinkedIn.

Professional Portfolio Design
LinkedIn allows you to customize your profile page by adding sections to your profile page (Figure 1). You can choose from the 11 sections as shown in the picture below (Figure 2).
Based on my experience of having served on a search committee for hiring educational professionals 20+ times, I have set up a set of criteria for designing effective professional portfolios. Each student must design their LinkedIn profile page by meeting all the criteria.

② Background Sections
All sections below (Figure 4) are required. Each entry must be fully filled out and descriptions must be detailed and to the point. Students must customize the layout for easier viewing (e.g., bullet points). Students are also encouraged to add external media (e.g., video) to supplement their experiences with media (Figure 5).
③ Skills Section
This section (Figure 5) is required.
④ Accomplishments Sections
Each student must pick the total of six sections from this category (Figure 6). The below three sections are required:
