Define the problem, review relevant previous studies, propose an approach to answering the question including a methodology, describe how you would analyze the data, and describe how you would report the results of your study.

What does research tell us about vocabulary acquisitions that should shape the design of a vocabulary learning video, such as the one you expressed interest in creating? This might perhaps include a storyboard of the vocabulary learning video along with justification (research-based) for his choices in creating the video.

What role do these factors play in instructional videos and have they been analyzed in previous studies? Your answer should clarify whether or not an eye tracking study can answer your questions about design / style and TESOL based learning. Your answer should narrow your research method for analyzing student success with instructional video content.
