10 Must-Have Classroom Tools
1. Nearpod
2. PollEverywhere
I use PollEverywhere whenever I really want everyone in my class to contribute to a classroom discussion because in many situations everyone's opinion counts for better learning. I also use this to create and take a poll on the spot literally within a minute. It's useful especially when I have to get the exact numbers. PollEverywhere supports a response type such as image hotspot. With the image hotspot I ask students a question like "Look at this PowerPoint slide and click on the spot in the slide that drew your attention most." This is very useful for teaching good PowerPoint slide design strategies by demonstrating what types of things students tend to look at in the slide.
