Search Procedures
I used the following search procedure to search all 60 students as fast as I could:
- For each student, I google-searched their full name (Figure 1).
- When it didn't return any information about the student within the first two search result pages (Figure 2), I added the word UNL to the search words (Figure 1).
- When it still didn't return any information about the student within the first two search result pages, I used their full name and "Lincoln NE" (Figure 1). When it still didn't return any information about the student, that was the end of the lookup attempt for the student.
In the Classroom
Of all the information I find about my students, I am only interested in the information that says something good, bad, and interesting about them (Figure 3). I create a Google Slides presentation and present the good, bad, and interesting information I find about my students (Figure 4).
